I am a 30 year old German national, who moved to Ireland in 2009. I've been living in Dublin for 6 years and worked as an Au Pair, Nanny and Childminder for several families. I've worked with children of all ages, assisting pregnant mothers til' birth and supporting them after until they transition back into the workforce. I have two Fetac Level 6 qualifications, one in Early Childhood Care and Education and another one in Special Educational Needs. I have experience working in private homes but also in School and creche settings. I have worked with autistic children, and children with Aspergers syndrome. I am bilingual and would be able to teach German to children if desired. I am creative, reliable and don't shy away from challenges. I can maintain a cool head in hectic situations and don't mind being as silly as possible if it puts a smile on a childs face. Childcare is not just my profession it's also my biggest passion.
